Ausschreibung : The call for 13 PhD positions (65%) for the  Research School (Fortschrittskolleg NRW) “One Health and Urban Transformation – recognizing risks, developing sustainable solutions” (funded by Ministry of Innovation, Science and Research of the State government of North Rhine-Westphalia, 2016-2012)  is now open.

The transdisciplinary graduate school is jointly operated by University of Bonn (Center for Development Research (ZEF) and faculties of Bonn University as agricultural, mathematical and natural-science and medical faculty), United Nations University – (UNU-EHS) and the International Centre for Sustainable Development of Bonn Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Science (HBRS). The research school is conducted in collaboration with institutions in India, Ghana and Brazil.

Thematic clusters of the research are:

1. How to ensure health-sensitive food systems?
2. How to develop One Health governance systems?
3. How to promote health through management of water systems?
